Located in the heart of the Beaches of Jacksonville in Neptune Beach, Florida, Yoga Mix brings a fresh vibe with the unique blend of styles. We literally "Mix it up on the Mat" with a core practice focused on connecting movement to breath transporting you to the natural state of "letting go." Our warm studio atmosphere and inspirational, fun music allows for the entire experience to come together. At Yoga Mix our teachers are encouraged to teach from their heart which translates to an authentic practice for each and every class.
Yoga Mix believes strongly in the power of being in tune to our own bodies and will always offer permission language to listen to what your body is saying. Students will be encouraged to modify, rest and hydrate if that is what your body is calling for or to go for your fullest expression if your practice is ready. Allowing for a judgement free space to practice and working toward a balance between ease and effort is what Yoga Mix will bring to you.

What style of yoga can I expect to practice?
We will practice a Mix of styles blending all that is great about yoga following a vinyasa flow.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable attire suitable for working out.
What should I bring?
Please bring a water bottle, hand towel, beach towel, & a yoga mat (If you need to rent a yoga mat, they are available at studio, if you do not own one).
What time will the studio open prior to scheduled classes?
The studio will be open 15-20 minutes prior to scheduled class time.
Can I come in late once a class has started?
It is suggested that you arrive 10-15 minutes before scheduled class time. If you cannot, no worries but once class has started we will lock the doors. This is for the safety of our belongings as well as allowing the students to settle in to their practice without distraction.
Can I leave early prior to savasana?
It is highly recommended that you stay all the way through savasana, it's the best part of the practice as well as most important posture. If you must leave prior to savasana please let your instructor know prior to class. Again, doors will be locked for the safety of our belongings as well as honoring our neighbors during the final resting pose allowing each & every person the beauty of a peaceful savasana.
What if I am new to yoga?
Welcome! Yoga Mix highly recommends you start with our Mind Body or Mixed Level classes if you are new to the practice.
How do I know if there have been changes to the schedule?
The "schedule" tab will always show the latest class days & times.
What ages are appropriate for classes?
Students ages 13 & up may practice regularly scheduled classes with signed waiver from parent or guardian.
Is it okay to eat prior to practicing yoga?
We suggest not eating one hour prior to practicing. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids before, during and after class.
Will music be used during class?
YES! At Yoga Mix music is a big part of our flow. Mixing breath, postures, music & connecting together is what we love! We want to know what moves you and what you want in your Mix!
